MN: Milan reflecting after being offered Inter and Napoli defenders who would replace Man Utd loanee

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign two full-backs who could potentially replace Manchester United loanee Diogo Dalot, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, there could be some changes to Milan’s full-back department prior to the 2021-22 season, especially if Dalot were to return to Manchester after his loan spell expires as is expected at the moment.

In recent days, both Danilo D’Ambrosio of Inter and Elseid Hysaj of Napoli have been offered to the Rossoneri, as both of them are currently on expiring contracts meaning they would be available on a free transfer.

The Nerazzurri defender is having difficulty with regards to his renewal while the Albanian is sure to leave Naples, so Milan have kept both tracks open because they are two free transfer opportunities, but for the moment they have decided to watch as an interested spectator until the end of the season when they will know their Champions League fate.

In addition to the two players from Napoli and Inter – who already know Serie A well – Milan’s scouting team are also evaluating profiles from abroad, less well-known names but perhaps more in line with the club’s vision regarding young players.
