MN: Milan resume discussions over Bundesliga midfielder – what is needed first

Contacts have resumed between AC Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach over Manu Kone, a report has confirmed, but a sale is needed to proceed further.

After a report from Sky Germany last night claimed that personal terms have been agreed between Milan and Kone, MilanNews are stating that the discussions between the two clubs have continued ‘after a few days of pause’.

The Rossoneri’s potential final attempt to land the Frenchman is tied to sales, as reiterated several times. After the departure of Yacine Adli, who will officially become a Fiorentina player, another exit is needed to free up space for the 23-year-old.

Ismael Bennacer was on the bench against Parma and is a candidate to depart. Intermediaries have recently had contacts with Al-Qadsiah and another Saudi club, but a concrete proposal is awaited by the management.

Only in the event that the Algerian were to depart would Milan be able to move for Konè, with the proceeds from the sale, but in the meantime something is also moving on Alexis Saelemaekers as a number of teams have made enquiries about the Belgian.

Monchengladbach sporting director Roland Virkus officially confirmed Koné’s intention to be sold in recent days, as he told Kicker: “Manu Koné told us quite early on that he wanted to leave the club, but there is no update.”

  1. Get Rovella and Ricci instead and sell RLC. net difference should be under 20M between these 3 deals… and finally our midfield will once again be balanced again

    1. alternative being selling Benny which I don’t like and persuading Rabiot for 5.5M deal + these 2. we can even make profit if we add RLC to departures.

    2. Sorry to let you down, I do like Ricci. But the club won’t read your messages here about your wishes for Ricci or Rovella every time

      1. just wishful thinking… The current recruitment strategy is really questionable… no balance in midfield, average players like RLC and Jovic taking minutes, no proper RB…

Pavlovic, Morata, Fofana are all high tier signings, while Emerson, Abraham don’t bring anything what Italians like Kayode and Retegui. same price, better upside, higher ceiling, but we always go for French players and Fonseca’s weird choices…

Another 5 seasons of Juve dominance incoming…

    3. They arent selling RLC. He actually did well last season. Problem is that he does not fit very well the 4-2-3-1 . He fits on a 4-3-3. But what do i know, i only play fifa and sunday league.

      1. Come on, don’t give me the joy of triggering you so easily. Man up and scroll past it without the need to comment, I might lose the joy. Then I again, I’m just speaking the truth…

  2. These guys lives in imaginations 😂 “when we sell benacer for 40+” we will bring kone , bruh you will never get that offer, stop cringe and bring us someone for 3 mil € and say its a promising talent a new seedorf as always

  3. It’s said they really can’t sell nobody. Only loans without obligations. Pobega loan, adli loan, kalulu loan, colombo loan, maldini free, simić almost free, nasti free, pelegrino loan, romero loan…and they will all come back and do this sh*t again next summer..

  4. Benancer stay dont go,you have salary.Do what hazard and bale do to Real. Ignore Ibra and co. and rest.Next year you can go at Premier league. Those managment not respect you so dont go,only go if you have some great option.
