MN: Milan expected to sell out of season tickets – over 35k have renewed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to sell out of season tickets once again as the fans continue to show their support for the team, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the levels and the rate of sales so far suggest that the amount of season tickets that Milan can sell (not the full capacity of San Siro due to withholding some for single game sales) will all be snapped up.

Over 35,000 fans have renewed their season tickets for next season which is up 5% compared to last season and that alone means that the vast majority of available season tickets have already been sold.

Until midnight on Wednesday 3 July, the thousands of fans who had signed up to the waiting list – both for the classic season ticket and for ‘Club 1899’ option – will be able to sign up for their season tickets.

The report adds that almost 90% of season tickets were purchased online (+4% compared to last season) and any that remain will go on general sale from Friday 5 July at 12:00.

We summarised all the details regarding the various sale phases when the details were announced in May, and it looks as though the Milan supporters will back Paulo Fonseca in numbers.
