AC Milan are currently on a four-game winning streak in the league, six if we make it unbeaten, and they have cemented their spot in third place in the standings. Compared to last season, as a report highlights, they are seven points better.
Stefano Pioli and his players had a tough period in October/November, going for league games without a win, but have since rebounded completely. In fact, they have registered just one defeat and one draw since that poor run of form, with the rest of the games being wins (7).
As highlighted by MilanNews this season, Milan are seven points better than last season, when they had 38 points after 21 games. And compared to the Scudetto season, which was in 2021-22, the Rossoneri are just three points behind.
- Milan 20-21: 49 points in 21 rounds
- Milan 21-22: 48 points in 21 rounds
- Milan 22-23: 38 points in 21 rounds
- Milan 23-24: 45 points in 21 rounds
It remains to be seen if Milan can continue their positive run of form, taking on Bologna next weekend. The Rossoblu have been one of the big surprises this season but, having said that, the Rossoneri prevailed in the first leg by two goals to nil. And this time it will be at San Siro.
Yesterday’s win against Udinese was the best confidence boost Milan could ask for, coming back from 2-1 behind to break the poor run of results at Stadio Friuli (first win since 2020). So hopefully that will push them to even more success.
