MN: Milan should have key duo available for game against Lazio next month

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to welcome back two crucial players for the game against Lazio after the international break, according to a report.

Kessie went down with a muscle problem after returning to training earlier this month following his spell at the Olympics in Tokyo with the Ivory Coast, while Ibrahimovic underwent knee surgery after landing awkwardly in the 3-0 win over Juventus at the end of last season.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Ibrahimovic’s recovery is proceeding well and the Swedish forward underwent personalised training on the pitch again today. The current aim is that the 39-year-old will be at full disposal after the international break, therefore for the game against Lazio.

There was individual work for Kessie too, but he has not yet trained on the pitch. Nonetheless, the Ivorian should return against Lazio too, meaning Milan will hopefully be heading towards a full strength squad after the break.
