AC Milan had a training session this morning and they decided to celebrate the birthday of head coach Stefano Pioli after.
According to MilanNews, the players and staff had lunch at Milanello after this morning’s training session, and at the end of the meal the staff and players celebrated Pioli’s birthday as the manager turns 57 today.
There was a toast to the boss, applause from all in the room and obviously a cake was presented too. It of course comes after Pioli celebrated three years in charge of AC Milan earlier in the month.
There is come good news from the training pitch itself too, as Charles De Ketelaere followed Simon Kjaer – who returned to training with the rest of the squad yesterday – in the training session. The young Belgian attacking midfielder will therefore be available to Stefano Pioli for Saturday’s match against Monza.
