MN: Details emerge about Milan’s squad to face Roma in Australia friendly – the names

By Ben Dixon -

Although AC Milan’s Serie A season finished on Saturday, they still have one more game to play this season – a friendly against AS Roma in Australia. Today, a report has suggested who will feature in this game.

The life of a footballer is fantastic on the face of it, especially when playing for a club like Milan. However, with the expectations growing about the amount of games that need to be played per season, players need to be in their best condition for much longer.

This season, the Rossoneri have played 52 times, and they are not yet done, with a game in Australia awaiting them on Friday, several of the club’s starters will be present for the trip, with the hope of displaying the best side possible.

It has been 30 years since the Diavolo last played in front of an Australian crowd, but the club still have an exceptional fanbase in the country, and this is why there has been a hope of returning in recent years.

The fixture against Roma, therefore, must have stars on display, and Milan News have revealed which players will make the trip and those are:

Tijjani Rejinders, Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Noah Okafor, Luka Jovic, Pierre Kalulu, Yacine Adli, Malick Thiaw, Davide Calabria, Rafael Leao, Yunus Musah, Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Marco Sportiello and Tommaso Pobega.

  1. why are they doing this? hasn’t the season been long enough with a Euros fixture coming in the summer… Do not like this idea as more players will be injured in the next season due to not enough rest between end of season and Euros

    1. I can only assume the club is getting paid a lot of cash for playing the match.
It makes zero sense from a sporting perspective.

  2. Every fvckin’ club on every fvckin’ league on this fvckin’ world plays friends, but for our beloved FVCKIN’ Doom&Gloom crew, only (buuuuuh!) AC Milan do that… These clows can be REALLY tiring and annoying.

    1. Please give us a list of top European clubs playing a friendly at the opposite side of the world less than a week after the end of the league and less than two weeks before the Euro.
