Especially if that top salary is given by a raise to loyal player that already proved himself in Milan, rather than giving some wannabe start (eg. Origi) big numbers from the day 1.
People think if we offer them a similar salary to Leak it’s just clear they’d sign on the line. There’s every chance their agent will just tell them to wind the clock down further. I hope they stay, I see Hernandez as more valuable than Leao, but there’s a lot of reasons they may not, even if they get a big offer from Milan.
