MN: Milan take further positive steps towards return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have taken more positive steps towards securing the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the latest reports.

MilanNews.it’s Anto Vitiello reported earlier on Monday that Milan resumed contacts with Ibrahimovic after Sunday’s horror show in Bergamo in which they lost 5-0 to Atalanta.

ANSA then stated on Monday that there is optimism at Casa Milan once again regarding the arrival of Ibrahimovic as they believe he is ready to accept their adjusted offer.

Now, MilanNews.it have offered yet another update on the situation by claiming that the Swede is closing in on a return to the club.

During the pre-Christmas period, Milan took further steps forward towards securing Ibrahimovic’s signature, while Zvonomir Boban and Paolo Maldini’s hope is that Ibrahimovic’s final answer will arrive by the end of the year.

The club’s leadership are confident that his result will now be positive after weeks of stalemate, the report concludes.
