MN: Milan turn attention to completing the defence – the current list of targets

By Oliver Fisher -

After securing several reinforcements already in the summer window, AC Milan must now turn to fixing the defence.

According to MilanNews, Milan know that they need to sign two full-backs before the start of the new campaign, one on each side to be the deputies to Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria. Andrea Conti has returned after his loan but he won’t be around for long, while Pierre Kalulu is considered more of a defensive wild card.

Junior Firpo has chosen to join the Premier League, and that is why Milan have now chosen to focus on Giuseppe Pezzella, a 23-year-old left-back who should leave Parma this summer, and in the coming days the speeches could turn into negotiations.

Maldini and Massara are considering different options for the right lane and Alvaro Odriozola is on pole position as relations with Real Madrid are excellent and talks with Manchester United over Diogo Dalot have not been productive. However, the report mentions that Serge Aurier could re-emerge as a concrete target as he should depart Spurs.
