AC Milan have set their sights on a teenage Borussia Dortmund midfielder who they could land on a free transfer, according to a report.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Milan are very interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Vasco Walz. The 16-year-old is currently under contract until the end of the season and could leave Dortmund, with Milan sniffing an opportunity to bolster their youth ranks.
Predominantly a central midfielder, the teenager has played for Germany at U17 level and has four appearances in the U17 Bundesliga-West for Borussia this season, amassing one assist as per Transfermarkt.
Milan have shown their willingness to stock the academy with young talent as they made make several interesting signings for the future during the last summer transfer window, including three players whom not many knew a great deal about. The players in question are Emil Roback, Lukas Björklund and Wilgot Marshage, all three brought in from Sweden to start their professional careers in Europe.
