AC Milan have asked about the chance of signing Gaetano Castrovilli from Fiorentina in a swap deal involving Lucas Paqueta.
That is according to the latest from Anto Vitiello for MilanNews, who claims that the midfield will be one of the departments most involved in the next market, with Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura set to leave on a free, but also the possible departure of Paqueta.
The former Flamengo star tried to change clubs in January, with his agent Edoardo Uram having spent a week in Milano holding constant talks with the Rossoneri leadership.
In addition to Juve there had also been a strong interest from Fiorentina, and Rocco Commisso’s club could try again in the summer, but Milan will demand €28-30million so as not to record a loss in the balance sheet.
The Diavolo would like to include Gaetano Castrovilli in the operation, a player very much appreciated by the club’s hierarchy, but La Viola are unlikely to accept due to the 23-year-old’s importance.
It has been reported that Castrovilli would cost around €45m amid links with Juventus and Inter.
