MN: Milan working on the outgoing market to create space – more sales could yet follow

By Oliver Fisher -

With the end of the transfer window growing closer and closer, the management are at work to complete the squad with some final signings and some sales.

As MilanNews writes, there have been some departures already like that of the Donnarumma brothers and Hakan Calhanoglu on free transfers, Diogo Dalot and Soualiho Meite whose loans expired, Mario Mandzukic whose deal was not renewed and Diego Laxalt who was sold.

Jens Petter Hauge is about to be added to the list as his medical examinations in Germany scheduled for tomorrow ahead of a move to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan with a €12m obligation to buy. Lorenzo Colombo meanwhile joined SPAL on loan and Mattia Caldara to Venezia is expected to be confirmed soon.

Other sales should arrive too as Samu Castillejo and Andrea Conti have been on the list of transferrable players for some time. There is concrete interest from Spezia in Rade Krunic, and Tommaso Pobega may leave on loan. All operations to thin out the squad and – hopefully – to prepare for new arrivals.

  1. Please offload Krunic and Castillejo soon and replace with Bakayoko and Ziyech/Ilicic. Also find a high quality playmaker such as Vlasic.
