MN: Milan’s probable XI for Genoa clash – Pioli makes one change

By Isak Möller -

In just under two hours, AC Milan will take on Genoa at San Siro, albeit behind closed doors. Following the disappointing draw away at Fiorentina, the Rossoneri will be looking to get back to winning ways this afternoon.

Stefano Pioli is expected to make one change to the starting eleven that played against La Viola, as reported by MilanNews.it. Gigio Donnarumma is injured and will miss the game, paving the way for Begovic to make his debut for Milan at home.

In recent days, reports have suggested that Simon Kjaer could play from start, having more or less recovered from his injury. However, Milan won’t take any risks with the Danish international and thus Matteo Gabbia should keep his spot in the XI.

Other than that, the starting eleven is the usual one, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading the attack. Hopefully, the Rossoneri can bounce back from the draw last time out with a win this afternoon.

Likely Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Begovic; Conti, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessié, Bennacer; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
