MN: Milan’s probable XI for Roma encounter – Tonali to be rested; five changes

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Roma tomorrow evening and after collecting 28 points in 10 games, the Rossoneri will be eager to continue their unbeaten run in the league. And now, the latest update on the starting XI has arrived.

Milan have started this season very well and Stefano Pioli can only be pleased with his team, especially if you consider all the injury struggles they have had. Tomorrow, they can make things even better with a win at the Olimpico.

Compared to the win against Torino mid-week, there will be five changes to the starting eleven, as per MilanNews. Simon Kjaer will be back in the heart of the defence while captain Alessio Romagnoli will be forced to sit on the bench. Theo Hernandez is also back from start.

It seems Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will start in midfield, with Sandro Tonali on the bench. In the attacking trio, Brahim Diaz is back after recovering from Covid-19 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start up front, having played just a few minutes in the game against Torino.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Kessié, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Ibrahimovic. Coach: Stefano Pioli.
