AC Milan’s record when they score first when compared to when they concede first is startling, a report has revealed.
As MilanNews reports, the Rossoneri have scored first in 18 Serie A games this season, and have won 17 of them with the only game they dropped points in from a winning position being Roma at home – the 3-3 draw earlier in the campaign.
When the opposition have scored first, the record is not at all positive as Milan have had 4 draws and 4 defeats. The four come-from-behind results were Hellas Verona at home, Parma at home, Genoa away and Udinese at home.
The four defeats came against Juventus (though Calabria did equalise in that game), Atalanta at home (3-0 defeat), Spezia away (2-0 loss) and the 3-0 derby defeat to Inter. Clearly, Pioli still needs to find a way to change things when they aren’t going his way in order to squeeze out more points.
