MN: Mukiele failed Milan medical rumours unconfirmed – the latest

By Euan Burns -

The rumours that Paris Saint-Germain defender Nordi Mukiele had recently undergone and failed a medical with AC Milan might not be true and are currently unconfirmed, a new report claims.

It was initially reported by German magazine Kicker that the French defender had undergone a medical with the Rossoneri ahead of a potential move, but then failed it.

Milan News have now reported that these rumours are unconfirmed and there is currently no evidence from the club that the supposed medical ever happened.

It seems unlikely that a medical for a high-profile player like Mukiele could take place without any reporting, but stranger things have happened in the world of transfers.

Mukiele has been linked with Milan in the past but after a poor half-season at PSG, he now seems destined to join Bayern Munich if they can finally agree on the terms of the deal.

Milan are looking elsewhere for their defensive reinforcements, especially given Mukiele is primarily a right-back rather than a centre-back.

Alessandro Buongiorno remains the best option that Milan currently have, although he may end up costing almost €40m if Torino get their way.

There is no suggestion that a move for Mukiele will get off the ground at this stage.

  1. True or false the most important thing is that he’s not joining. Don’t need another right back after Terra. God what’s this about signing defenders!. Get a mid and close the window.
