MN: Musah wants Milan but Valencia’s owner is blocking the deal – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to turn their attentions to Yunus Musah after they have wrapped up two signings for the attack, according to a report.

MilanNews writes that the management are looking to close the deals for Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze and then they concentrate most of their efforts on signing Musah, another profile that the Rossoneri have been after for several weeks.

He is also another player who has already accepted Milan’s offer of personal terms and wants to join the club, but he is waiting for Milan to find an agreement with Valencia over the transfer fee.

Peter Lim – the owner of the LaLiga club – is the one who is blocking things rather than the management. The intention of the Singaporean entrepreneur is to unleash an auction for the 20-year-old American midfielder to get as much as possible but, at the moment, his intentions have not come true.

    1. @AR exactly 💯

He’d be a nice addition to the squad but we don’t need to chase him. Plus an actual no.6 like Dominguez would be perfect. Not a big name but knows Serie A well and crucially (imho) wants to do the Gattuso role ie get stuck in, track back, make the interceptions etc.

  1. I prefer Musah over Dominguez and hope we can get this done, but if we can’t we need to sign Dominguez.

Lim isn’t finding anyone else because the player has already agreed personal terms with Milan. This is what happened with Chukwueze. Lim isn’t being logical.

    1. Well if he really have other suitors the offer will come even if he already agreed deal with us.

Like Bournemouth hijacking Lazio deal for Milos Kerkez, or Marcus Thuram agreed terms with us but later choose Inter for example.

      1. I haven’t heard of anyone else being linked to him. It’s all up to the player in the end. This is how we landed Chukwueze.

    1. Kessie is non-EU and we have already used our two spots. He’s not coming to us. Musah on the other hand owns an Italian passport. I love Kessie as a player but it is true that the way he left us wasn’t nice. This ship has sailed, unfortunately. I’ll hate to see him do well for Juve but it is what it is.

  2. Get Chuk deal done quick then hopefully we’ll try one last push for Musah, but I think we shouldn’t go beyond 20m. I myself prefer Dominguez, since we have been getting players from abroad at once, and most do seems to be starter-bound. It is never easy to have like half new players in the starting 11. They will need time to integrate. Dominguez knows the league so I do think he’s a better option, moneywise and even tacticalwise. He’s a fighter. We need that in our midfield. I do hope we could offload our deadwoods and still wish them all the best. Also, a deal with Singo involving Messias would be nice.

  4. Peter lim want to make auction for yunus,so far no EPL club enter bidding war. Same like sassoulo owner want to make bidding war between IM,Roma, juve,AC Milan for frattessi to get 40m euro but in the end he disappointed because only IM presented official offer loan with obligation to buy 25m euro , the other 3 club just enquiry and pull off

  5. Valencias ownerbis a certified smooth brain so shouldn’t waste too much time. Dominguez is Serie A proven and will cost less. Can always get him first and go back for musah when Lim realizes he has no options
