MN: Two names emerge who could fit Milan’s ‘Mister X’ secret – the details

By Ben Dixon -

Stefano Pioli’s potential AC Milan successors have seen their names spread across the media for months. However, there is a coach, maybe several, who has been under the radar. He is ‘Mister X’.

Everyone knows the inevitable for Pioli, but nothing is known about his successor, currently. Names come in a constant stream, waiting to write themselves as the potential candidate who will be selected for the next Milan coach, but none have been selected thus far.

There is one coach or several, that has not been revealed, though, Mister X. Nothing is known about what this signifies, but this is likely a profile, rather than a particular person. The profile will be similar to what the Rossoneri want, but without the backlash of a name being revealed.

Today, though, MilanNews have attempted to crack the code, and have offered some suggestions about who the title could fit.

The first that could be identified as Mister X is Jacob Neestrup. A Danish coach who took Copenhagen to the knockout stages of the Champions League, beating Manchester United in the process. Copenhagen are renowned for their model of buying low and selling high, with a view for younger talent.

Another that could fit this profile is Matthias Jaissle, the manager of Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League. The German coach is well known for his work with RB Salzburg, and he faced the Rossoneri last season with the club.

  1. The management must be laughing their head off as they already know exactly who they are gonna go for and who is plan B.

All this speculation is entertainment. Season is over soon, we’ll know soon enough

  2. The rumours are just getting worse for every day.. Please stop until Milan make an official post about the next coach.

    1. But wait, Spanish outlets suggest Laporta is furious at Xavi after the last presser and will fire him. So obviously tomorrow news will be Xavi was our main target all that time and he is willing to join our project…

  3. As a dane i actually like Jacob Neestrup but i seriously doubt the validity of these rumors and i think ac milan can do better but look at how he managed fc copenhagen to progress in this years 2nd toughest cl group and that on the expense of utd and galatasaray and almost beating bayern in munich with a team maybe a tenth the value than at least utd and bayern. He is pretty much a pitbull on the sideline and i doubt there would be any slacking off with him as our coach. Im confident that he will take the leap abroad soon but not with ac milan though.

In the end i would hope we could get either motta, de zerbi. xavi or concecao in no specific order.

    1. Its a rumour dont take it literally as its carved into stone.
rumour definition – a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

  4. Milan already has a coach picked and Pioli’s situation worked out, whatever that may be.

Just gotta wait until the season is over. pioli pretty much confirmed it with his presser.

  5. so our next coach qualification is a yes man who can buy cheap then sell high?
how about buy some replica UCL & SerieA trophys then brag it to other clubs
