MN: Origi and Giroud give Pioli a selection headache ahead of Torino trip

AC Milan’s games against Monza in the league and Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League yielded the same result in each game: four goals and three points.

MilanNews writes how Pioli now has more certainty regarding his attacking department and in particular the role of centre-forward off the back of two comfortable wins. In Origi’s first start for Milan he got his first goal and also registered an assist in what was an excellent performance, while Giroud scored a penalty in Croatia to end a mini goal drought and found himself involved on a number of occasions.

It will be a very difficult choice for Pioli in view of Sunday’s game against Torino therefore, as he will have to send only one of the two strikers onto the field from the first minute.

The Belgian could be the favourites after the 80 minutes that Giroud played in the Champions League, but the battle between the two players remains open.
