MN: Origi ‘considering’ offers from Saudi Arabia, MLS and Turkey – the details

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan are desperately trying to part ways with Divock Origi this summer, and departure could be on the cards with the Belgian gaining interest from several leagues.

It is difficult to call Origi anything other than a flop for Milan, and since joining the Rossoneri he has not been able to revive his career as hoped, and this was the case when he joined Nottingham Forest last season as well.

When the Belgian moved back to the Premier League, hopes were in place that the striker could show some qualities that could be used when he returned to the Diavolo or would cut the club’s losses in some respects, but this did not happen.

Instead, Origi returned to the club and separation was the only idea that came with him. Attempts were made in January to part with the striker, but nothing came to fruition and the club have already posed the idea of a contract termination if there are no suitors.

However, a report from Milan News has suggested this may not be needed anymore. Antonio Vitiello suggests that the striker is currently ‘considering offers’ from the MLS, Saudi Pro League and the MLS, and an exit could be on the cards.

  1. That would be some sh*t if after all of that Milan actually sold him for whatever nominal fee and made a gain on him… 🤣

    1. I dont think we’re taking the risk of even charging a fee. Free transfer outta here. The savings of 2 more years of paying him 4mn net (so what, 7mn gross?) Is a blessing.

      Just GTFO Divock. Good riddance.

    1. What the F are you smoking. Not saying Jovic has been great but he’s been playable. Origi is legitimately the worst forward I’ve ever seen in red and black and I remember the Luiz Adriano days. The dude is afraid of the ball and a total fraud.

    1. Give over with dehumanising language, he’s never disrespected you or the club, just accepted the contract that was offered to him. Saying you hope he moves on and hasn’t worked out for the club is fine, but ‘leech’ is uncalled for.

  2. “the striker is currently ‘considering offers’ from the MLS, Saudi Pro League and the MLS”
He is considering the MLS so much that it had to be mentioned twice.

      1. When they play in the same league,in the same team, with the same teammates, then you can bring me shi**y stats as an argument, until then let me estimate who is better on my own based on what i see from them on the field.

  3. Well what about the players they signed now what is still happening, are they scoring ,see football is all about patience sometimes coaches should know that I believe in the case of Divock he needed time to get in to the system ,AC Milan should give him another chance and get patience ,remember when he was on loan with wolfbourg he did not actually did well but at the end he came back to Liverpool and gave them champions league , AC Milan what happened to Divock could happen to any players he needed time to adapt simple
