MN: Four outcasts and two different outcomes – the departures for Milan

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan aren’t just looking to reinforce the squad this month but also to offload some of the outcasts. This has proved to be quite difficult indeed, although two departures have seemingly gone through.

Andrea Conti has already left the club for Sampdoria but in the last week or so, Milan have been working on four other exits. Two of them are loan moves and concern Alessandro Plizzari and Daniel Maldini, but the latter could end up staying.

As per MilanNews, the attacking midfielder’s move to SPAL has seemingly been scrapped completely after it initially looked promising. As for Plizzari, he will undergo his medical for Lecce today and complete the move.

Milos Kerkez, the Primavera player, will join AZ Alkmaar on a permanent basis for a fee of €2m. These are two departures that won’t change the squad for Stefano Pioli, obviously, but the same cannot be said of Samu Castillejo leaves.

The Spaniard is not convinced of a move to Valencia, who are interested in a loan, and Milan want there to be an option to buy included as well. That exit is also very complicated given Castillejo’s high salary.

  1. The best solution are just Loan castilejo until his contract expire in 2023 to avoid loss in financial book. No need transfer fee for un used player like castilejo
