MN: Pioli and his ‘faithful eleven’ back for Fiorentina clash – only one man missing

By Isak Möller -

From one competition to another, without any rest in between. With Europa League out of the way, Milan are now gearing up to take on Fiorentina in the league. After two away games, they will be back at the San Siro.

As Stefano Pioli is still COVID-19 positive, Daniele Bonera will lead the team from the bench once again. Per MilanNews, Ante Rebic will start up front as the Rossoneri are still waiting on Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return.

The Swede, in fact, is the only player of the ‘faithful eleven’ to miss out on the clash. Davide Calabria, Alessio Romagnoli, Franck Kessie and Alexis Saelemaekers are all back for this game and will play from the first minute.

Pioli, therefore, will rely on his usual favourites in what will be an interesting game. Fiorentina are desperate for points and with Cesare Prandelli now at the helm, they will need a turnaround sooner rather than later.
