MN: Pioli and Maldini convinced by Zaniolo – Roma open to sale at €40m

AC Milan are interested in Nicolo Zaniolo and there might be the margins to make an operation with Roma materialise, a report claims.

Zaniolo is a player with immense potential but he has been limited by two very serious injuries in recent years and has also been used in a variety of different roles from a tactical point of view that have not helped his continuity.

MilanNews report that Stefano Pioli and Paolo Maldini are fans of the player and they are well aware that a move to the Rossoneri could help the player to return to the levels of his early days, and Roma for their part could open to the idea of a sale.

They are struggling with the renewal of Zaniolo’s contract, which is expiring in 2024, and their asking price is currently around €40m. It is unlikely that Maldini and Massara can pay that amount, but Zaniolo’s will could make a difference.
