AC Milan will take on Cagliari this Sunday at San Siro, which will host Rossoneri fans for the first time since Covid-19 broke out. Stefano Pioli isn’t expected to make many changes to the XI but he has one doubt.
As reported by MilanNews this evening, the team had tactical tests at Milanello earlier today and Pioli needs to decide the midfield tandem. Rade Krunic played from start last time out and did surprisingly well, making the matter more complicated.
Ismael Bennacer has returned to full fitness, though, and is currently ahead of the Bosnian to play from start. Obviously, the Algerian would usually be the undisputed starter but his condition (and Krunic’s recent display) raised the question.
The probable XI, as things stand, includes one change from the game against Sampdoria and that is the aforementioned. Pioli was pleased with the team performance and it’s only right that he won’t make loads of changes.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

The only game I can remember Bennacer and Tonali starting together last season was the home game against Sparta Prague and it was legit one of the best performances, make it happen!
