MN: Pioli left with limited chances to rotate vs. Venezia but one change is expected

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli cannot make too many changes for Wednesday’s game against Venezia at San Siro due to the injury problems the squad are facing.

MilanNews writes that training resumed today in view of the midweek game against Paolo Zanetti’s Venezia, and Pioli can only make limited choices given that Kjaer, Ibrahimovic, Calabria, Giroud, Bakayoko and Krunic are likely to miss out through injury, with Junior Messias not at 100% either yet.

Franck Kessie – who did not appear in exceptional form in the latest games against Liverpool away and against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium – could catch his breath to make room for Ismael Bennacer alongside Sandro Tonali in the double pivot.

For the rest it is a practically obligatory line-up, but more indications should arrive tomorrow when more will be known about a possible recovery of some injured players like Giroud and Ibrahimovic.
