AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is set to field the same starting line-up tomorrow against Cagliari as he did for the win over Sampdoria, a report claims.
MilanNews have provided an update on the team news from Milanello in view of tomorrow’s match against Leonardo Semplici’s Cagliari. According to what they are reporting, Pioli will once again use a double pivot of Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic in the midfield, who also started in Genoa against Sampdoria, which certainly implies Ismael Bennacer is not yet at optimal conditin.
All the other nine players who started the game at the Marassi should also be confirmed. Therefore, Mike Maignan will be in goal with a back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez. Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao should be on the right and left wings respectively, with Brahim Diaz playing centrally behind Olivier Giroud.
