It seems as though Rafael Leao will be tried out in a new role for Milan’s trip to Bologna tomorrow, according to a report.
Pioli will have to come up with some fixes for his attacking department as Brahim Diaz is injured, Hakan Calhanoglu is now negative to Coronavirus but has not been included in the squad.
According to the latest from MilanNews, the Turkey international will have to undergo visits to determine his fitness, which are necessary to obtain the green light in view of the return to competitive activity.
With Brahim out due to injury, Pioli is thinking of using Rafael Leao as a central attacking midfielder with Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing and Ante Rebic on the left wing in the trio behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
He would become the latest player to be tried in that role this season after Brahim, Calhanoglu, Rade Krunic and Soualiho Meite.
