AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has got three options to be the main striker against Juventus on Sunday and he will spend the week making the decision, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, any of Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic could be the starting striker on Sunday when Juventus travel to San Siro.
It is a huge game that will say a lot about both of these teams when it comes to their Scudetto credentials, with many assuming based on the first eight games that Milan, Inter and Juventus are going to be the title challengers in Serie A.
Giroud is the first choice as a striker all the time, but he has been very busy with France during the international break and with the Paris Saint-Germain game coming soon after the Juventus one, he could be saved for that.
If he rests Giroud, Jovic is the option he perhaps needs the minutes the most as he seeks to make an impression at Milan. Okafor is not a natural striker which would make him a more unpredictable choice from a tactical perspective.
But Jovic is not that good! I smell a bust. We need goals against Juve. I think Okafor is more likely to score, even if he is not a true #9, than Jovic. I do agree that saving Giroud for PSG seems like a wise decision. Even if we were to lose to Juve, we can still recover later on in terms of Serie A, while if we lose to PSG we may very well kiss goodbye to surviving the UCL group stage. The same is true for Pulisic. He will come back very tired from international duty and long flight. Last international break Puli had a bad game right after. We also need Puli for PSG. I’d start Chuk again. But I’d keep Leão. He is very strong and athletic, not injure-prone, and not easily tired. So my front 3 for Juve would be Leão, Okafor and Chuk. Giroud and Puli can come in second half if things are not going well.
its basically unacceptable to lose against juve at home. Not when you’re #1 on the table..
Psg away is a diffrent story. That will be a very hard game and i dont expect a win there
Nothing will be decided even if we loose to PSG. I agree with resting Pulisic tho try Chuck and Romero on the right. But I would give Jovic more minutes at the center. The man has something to prove and we gave useless Adli far more. We know Jovic can score.

Instead of giroud start jovic and instead of chuku play Luka because chuku haven’t done a lot ever since he started

and his technical ability inside and around the 18 yard area is so important against a top opposition.
