MN: Duo do individual work again as training continues at Milanello

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan squad were hard at work at Milanello today to continue the preparation for the upcoming league match against Lecce.

After their 2-1 victory against Fiorentina on Saturday night to make it six wins in a row across all competitions, the next gamewill see the Rossoneri in action on Saturday 6 April at 15:00 CEST at the San Siro against Lecce.

As the official website writes, today’s training session began in the gym, where the group loosened up before heading out onto the field to complete the warm-up phase.

The session continued with a series of technical exercises focused on finishing. A possession drill preceded the usual small-sided game that concluded the morning’s work.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Tommaso Pobega and Simon Kjaer once again carried out individual training today to better recover from their respective physical problems.

Pobega has been out for some time after undergoing surgery on a hip problem back in December in Finland, one that he sustained during the home win against Monza.

Kjaer meanwhile felt some muscular discomfort on international duty with Denmark and although scans revealed no actual injury, his return to the fold is being carefully managed by the staff.
