MN: Positive news for Milan as winger should be ready for Benevento clash

The Christmas break is coming towards an end and Milan will be back in action this Sunday, taking on Benevento away from home. With two consecutive wins in the back, they will be looking to make it three out of three.

Stefano Pioli has had to deal with many injuries as of late and Sunday’s clash will be no exception. The likes of Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are out, while Theo Hernandez is suspended.

As reported by MilanNews, there have also been some doubts about Samu Castillejo’s condition, but the feeling is that the winger will be available. He’s working very hard to make it in time and thus also claim a starting spot to the right.

The training session tomorrow morning will be decisive to determine his condition, having picked up the injury against Lazio just before the break. But as mentioned, there is optimism that he will be available.
