The AC Milan squad were back at Milanello today preparing for Saturday evening’s game against Udinese at San Siro, and good news arrived regarding two players.

While waiting for all the players to be available after returning from their national teams, some developments came via MilanNews regarding winger Samuel Chukwueze and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

In fact, Chukwueze did some work with the rest of the squad today and is already feeling better, amid fears that he had returned from international duty with Nigeria early because of a more significant muscle issue.

As for Loftus-Cheek, he still has some individual work to do but could return to full training with the group tomorrow. The other internationals will return to Italy between today and tomorrow, in view of the game on Saturday.

Whether either of Chukwueze or Loftus-Cheek will fully recover in time to be in contention for the match against Udinese is not yet clear, but based on reports circulating it is unlikely that either would be considered for starting positions.

Christian Pulisic is in great form and returned early from USA duty so he is almost certain to get the nod on the right wing, while Tijjani Reijnders and Youssouf Fofana have been immovable as the midfield pairing, with Alvaro Morata expected to be in behind the striker.
