MN: Probable Milan XI to face Fiorentina – only one doubt to resolve

After the bitter draw in Lecce before the last international break, AC Milan are ready to return to action and will welcome Vincenzo Italiano’s Fiorentina on Saturday evening.

MilanNews confirms that Milan will have to do without some significant absences such as those of Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud, as well as Noah Okafor who was ruled out today.

There will be several changes in the line-up compared to the eleven that took to the field against Lecce. The defence will remain as Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez, however.

In midfield there is a battle between Yunus Musah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with the American – who will be suspended for the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund – currently favoured to partner Rade Krunic and Tijjano Reijnders.

Up front, Christian Pulisic will take Leao’s place on the left, with Samuel Chukwueze on the right and Luka Jovic in the middle given that Okafor is also injured. Francesco Camarda should get his first call-up for the bench, aged 15.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Musah, Krunic, Reijnders; Chukweuze, Jovic, Pulisic.

Bench: Mirante, Nava, Florenzi, Bartesaghi, Adli, Pobega, Loftus-Cheek, Romero, Camarda.

Unavailable: Sportiello, Kalulu, Pellegrino, Caldara, Bennacer, Kjaer, Leao, Giroud, Okafor.

One yellow from suspension: Musah

Doubts: Musah 60% – Loftus-Cheek 40%
