AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is unlikely to make big changes to his starting XI for the game against Sassuolo compared to the team that thrashed Bologna 5-1.
That is according to MilanNews, who report that the back five will stay the same apart from potentially the right-back spot, where Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria are battling to start alongside Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez.
There will be no alterations in midfield though as expected, where Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will once again be deployed as the double pivot, with the Ivorian and Algerian having both enjoyed a fantastci recent run of form.
In addition, Hakan Calhanoglu, Alexis Saelemaekers and Ante Rebic will keep their spot in the starting XI too, with those three the favourites to be selected by Pioli to support Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will act up front alone.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
