MN: Probable Milan XI to face Sparta Praha – Pioli pondering a number of big changes

By Oliver Fisher -

With qualification for the knockout stages already in the bag, Stefano Pioli is set to rotate his starting XI for Thursday’s game against Sparta Praha.

According to MilanNews, the defensive department could be the one that undergoes the most changes, with Donnarumma replaced by Ciprian Tatarusanu, who will be protected by a back four of Andrea Conti, Matteo Gabbia, Leo Duarte and Diogo Dalot. That means rest for Romagnoli, Calabria and Theo Hernandez

In the midfield, both Kessie and Bennacer will not be risked and therefore Rade Krunic and Sandro Tonali will be the double pivot.

MilanNews also predict that Lorenzo Colombo will be the centre-forward, and behind him will be a trio of Samu Castillejo, Brahim Diaz and Jens Petter Hauge from right to left.

The good news of course is that all the big guns should be fit and ready to fire against Parma on Sunday.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Conti, Duarte, Romagnoli, Dalot; Krunic, Tonali; Castillejo, Diaz, Hauge; Colombo.
