Milan will take on Hellas Verona away from home tomorrow and after the 1-1 draw against Udinese, it will be important for the Rossoneri to bounce back with a win. However, they are in experiencing an injury crisis.
Stefano Pioli will have to do without the likes of Ismael Bennacer, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mario Mandzukic, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic tomorrow. The latter injured himself during training today and will miss out.
According to MilanNews.it, the manager will make a total of four changes to the starting XI. Fikayo Tomori will replace Simon Kjaer in defence. As Rebic is injured, he will field Alexis Saelemaekers on the left wing instead, just like he did in the away clash against Rio Ave.
This also means that Samu Castillejo will get another chance on the right, with Rade Krunic taking on the trequartista role. Jens Petter Hauge, in other words, will have to wait for his chance although the idea of him starting isn’t completely ruled out.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo; Kessié, Tonali; Castillejo, Krunic, Saelemaekers; Leao.
