MN: Probable Milan XI to face Lazio – no Tomori or Rebic from the start

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-final tomorrow night at San Siro and there are still some selection dilemmas to resolve, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Stefano Pioli has to make some choices for the defence and the midfield. Three of the back four pick themselves because Fikayo Tomori will not start, so Pierre Kalulu and Alessio Romagnoli will be the centre-back and Theo Hernandez at left-back.

For the right-back spot Davide Calabria leads Alessandro Florenzi in the race to start while in the middle of the field there will be Sandro Tonali alongside Franck Kessie who will return having played a more advanced role in the derby win over Inter.

Junior Messias – who entered the derby to take the place of Alexis Saelemaekers – will be the right winger with Rafael Leao on the left wing and Brahim Diaz down the middle behind Olivier Giroud. Ante Rebic should be able to enter during the game.
