MN: Raiola offers Donnarumma around but gets no response due to salary and €20-25m commission

Mino Raiola offered goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma around to several clubs but didn’t get any interest at the demands he set, according to a report.

According to Franco Ordine’s latest for MilanNews, the Milan management have done more than enough in offering Donnarumma €8m net per season to renew his contract. There is no club in Italian football able to offer the same amount when considering the amount that Raiola would ask for in commission, which is around €20-25m as per ‘credible indiscretions’.

In addition, Ordine writes that Raiola went around offering the goalkeeper to some top clubs without getting any response indicating strong interest in large part because the salary levels being demanded are at the level of only two or three goalkeepers in Europe. Liverpool’s Allison for example does not earn as much, nor does Keylor Navas (€7.5m) or Szczęsny (€6m). If €8m is not enough, then it would be better to lose Donnarumma and Raiola, the report concludes.
