Ralf Rangnick’s arrival at AC Milan is imminent but he will not be able to work with two of his trusted collaborators, a report claims.
According to Pietro Mazzara’s latest for MilanNews, Rangnick is just around the corner and the announcement will likely arrive in August along with the official presentation, once the season is over.
There have been recent meetings, continuous contacts and preparations have already started. The German is ready for a new adventure but it is one he will undertake without Paul Mitchell – who became the new sporting director of Monaco – and assistant Lars Kornetka, who has gone to PSV.
Ralf is working with his trusted men for a staff that also has an Italian component, both on the field and behind the desk, and this is where there could be an important acquisition.
Rangnick wants a top scout to help the development of the youth sector in line with the guidelines of the first team, in particular one who knows the market of Italian U23 players well.
He wants a profile that has a network of trusted collaborators, who already have very strong relationships with agents operating on Italian soil in order to guarantee Milan the best profiles that can be brought to Milanello. Some names are swarming in the air, but there have not yet been decisive movements.
