MN: Rangnick wants Werder Bremen winger at Milan but RB Leipzig are on pole – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a concrete interest in signing Werder Bremen star Milot Rashica but also have plenty of competition, a report claims.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via @acmilangoleador on Twitter) reported on Monday night that Rangnick has informed Milan that he wants Rashica to help reinforce the club’s attacking options.

Sky Italia added (via MilanNews) that he will have a release clause of €30million in the summer if Werder Bremen were to remain in the Bundesliga, but only €16million in the event of relegation.

Rashica has exploded especially this season, collecting 31 appearances with Bremen and amassing 10 goals between the Bundesliga and the German Cup.

According to MilanNews, Milan are indeed interested in signing the 23-year-old Kosovo international as they look for options to reinforce the left wing.

Rangnick would like him with him at Milan, but competition is present in the former of RB Leipzig – the team he used to coach – who have already obtained the green light from the player and are on pole position.
