MN: Red Bull Salzburg striker due in Italy for medical ahead of Milan move

Nicolo Turco will arrive in Italy soon ahead of undergoing a medical before joining AC Milan’s Futuro side on a loan deal, according to a report.

As a youth player, Turco joined the youth academy of Juventus from Genoa, where he was regarded as one of the brightest talents up until his departure, which was a rather surprise one given he decided to leave Italy.

He chose to join the Red Bull system and more specifically Salzburg, who loaned him to their satellite club FC Liefering where he scored one goal and amassed three assists in 13 games.

According to the latest from MilanNews, the medical visits are scheduled for tomorrow for the young striker who will arrive on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. The teenager will be a part of Milan Futuro under Daniele Bonera.

The report does not disclose if there will be a chance to make the deal permanent, but it seems obvious that he will be the deputy to Francesco Camarda for the U23 side in their first season in Serie C.

During his spell with Juventus Primavera, he racked up 19 goals and 10 assists in 54 games, and he has also represented the Italian national team up until the U20 age group. Reports yesterday suggested there will be a €2m option to buy.
