AC Milan have yet another injury problem to deal with as Ante Rebic came off during the first half of the 3-2 comeback win over Hellas Verona.
Milan completed a fantastic turnaround in the second half having found themselves two goals down after a quick start from the visitors, when Caprari opened the scoring after seven minutes and Barak converted a penalty.
Olivier Giroud’s header with just over 30 minutes left halved the deficit, and then an equaliser came from a penalty of Milan’s own after Castillejo was fouled with Kessie converting. The winner came via an own-goal from Gunther.
There was a moment of worry though as Rebic came off after clutching what looked like his ankle in the first half, and MilanNews writes that he was replaced due to a sprained left ankle. He left the field in the 35th minute, and will now be evaluated by the Rossoneri medical staff.
We have the worst medical team in Serie A. We are the BEST team in Italy but we never have our full strongest 11 fully fit.I hope Rebic is not permanently injured. For now Leao is there…but last thing we need is Leao getting injured…Maybe Rotate Leao with Maldini and play Krunic at CAM…Krunic and Castillejo were AMAZING off the bench.I liked it.
