MN: Rebic favourite to start vs. Juventus – four absentees expected

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will look to continue their winning streak in the league this Sunday as they will face Juventus away from home. Last time the Rossoneri played at that stadium, they got an impressive 3-0 win.

As reported by MilanNews this evening, one key player will most likely miss out on the clash, namely Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede trained apart from the squad today, just like Junior Messias, and his presence is very much in doubt.

In addition to those two, midfield duo Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic are also on the injury list. It isn’t ideal, of course, to have so many injuries in one department but hopefully, at least one of them will be back soon.

In other news, as also reported by MilanNews, Ante Rebic is the favourite to start up front as he’s currently ahead of Olivier Giroud. Stefano Pioli will make the final decision tomorrow when the final training session will be held.
