MN: Rebic ups the ante at Anfield – the Croatian has become a key resource for Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

Ante Rebic is enjoying a good patch of form early this season as the Croatian was also impressive in the 3-2 defeat to Liverpool last night.

MilanNews writes how Rebic showed all of his determination and ferocity but also his composure during the game at Anfield, timing his run perfectly and finishing with a lovely first time shot to momentarily level the game at 1-1, and he also had a hand two minutes later as Milan went 2-1 up and span the game on its head.

Rebic never gives up and on the pitch and he treats every game like a in a sporting sense, getting as involved as possible even when the team have their back against the wall.

Last night he virtually had Milan’s first big chance of the game and he took it showing that he is decisive, like against Lazio, when he needed to serve his team-mates. Pioli knows he can count on Rebic, even during the game and even as a centre-forward.
