MN: Renewals, a signing and potential sales – Milan’s plan for the January transfer window

We are now only 50 days away from the reopening of the transfer window and the Milan management have a clear idea of how to fine tune the squad.

MilanNews writes that the Rossoneri management did not like the statements that Romain Faivre made in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport and as such he is not regarded as a target for January. The only area that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara deem it necessary to interview is in the attacking department and they will go search of a profile in line with the Elliott project.

In terms of sales, offers are awaited for Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo as both are deemed outside of the clubs plans. For the winger Spanish clubs are interested while Conti is followed by Sampdoria. It is hard to imagine Franck Kessie will be sold unless a big offer comes in.

There will also be time spent on the renewals of Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer and Rade Krunic. Maldini and Massara are working on the various extensions with pay rises and there is optimism filtering.
