MN: Romagnoli vying to seize his chance against Lazio – his status has never been questioned

By Oliver Fisher -

If things go as expected, tonight’s game against Lazio should mark Alessio Romagnoli’s first start of the season for AC Milan.

MilanNews writes that Romagnoli is ready to play from the start, after coming on for a few minutes against Sampdoria in the final stages and not having played a minute in the 4-1 win over Cagliari at San Siro.

It seems to be clear now that Kjaer and Tomori are ahead of him in the hierarchy, but Romagnoli has never felt like he is a reserve nor has he considered himself one, but rather is an integral part of a more complete squad compared to last season.

Milan will experience a rather intense Autumn and Winter period, given the big league matches and the Champions League games that the club have long been crying out for. This evening against Romagnoli will take the field with the captain’s armband on, and this status has have never been questioned.

The report adds how the 26-year-old is an exemplary professional who can always be counter on. His future at Milan is still uncertain, but as long as he is here, he will give his best.
