Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai is currently waiting for AC Milan to make a decisive lunge for his signature, a report claims.
It is no secret that Szoboszlai is one of Milan’s major targets ahead of the upcoming transfer window and the probable arrival of Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new manager, a man who knows the player well from his time with Red Bull.
According to MilanNews, Szoboszlai has been a target for Milan for months, ever since January when Boban insisted taking a look at him.
Rangnick knows him well and followed him recently in Austria, obviously due to his role as the supervisor of the Red Bull teams.
Something is still missing to close the operation, but in the meantime there are continuous dialogues between the player and Rangnick, with Szoboszlai waiting with trepidation for the moment of landing in Milan.
AlfredoPedulla.com claimed yesterday that Milan are willing to raise their contract offer up to €1.8-2m per season plus bonuses.
