MN: Seven players train individually at Milanello as preparation begins for Roma

An update has arrived on several of AC Milan’s injured players ahead of Sunday’s game at San Siro against Roma.

After the win against Salernitana to resume the season yesterday, MilanNews report that training got back underway at Milanello today as preparations begun for the visit of the Giallorossi to San Siro this coming weekend.

The news is that seven players did individual work, among whom are Mike Maignan who continues to try and get his calf to heal, Ante Rebic, Simon Kjaer, Divock Origi, Rade Krunic and Junior Messias.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Florenzi and Zlatan Ibrahimović are also doing the own routine at the moment given their absence was pre-established as being for a longer period, while Fode Ballo-Toure will have to recover for about a month after shoulder surgery.

It means that Pioli could again have depleted ranks heading into the game against Jose Mourinho’s side, just as he had to deal with yesterday in Salerno.
