MN: A six month wait – the first ‘certain’ date Bologna-Milan could be played

Bologna vs AC Milan is set to kick off at 18:00 CEST, but right now, there is no sign of when the game will be played at the moment.

As things stand, a meeting is going on to decide what will happen for tomorrow’s match, but with 27 hours until kick-off, things are a bit farcical. Postponement has already been suggested, but this is the last option for the parties, and everything is being done to avoid that.

It is easy to see why, though. Milan News have looked at when the game could be played to fit in with the Rossoneri’s campaign, and it looks like April 3 could be the first ‘certain’ date for the fixture – a six-month wait.

Given both teams are competing in the Champions League, it makes it difficult, and that is without also considering the Supercoppa, which only adds to the challenge of rescheduling the fixture. Additionally, this considers Coppa Italia success, so it could be played sooner.

There are 27 hours until the game is supposed to kick off, and as time passes, there are few positive signs of the game going ahead. However, there are no signs of progress being made in the ongoing meeting, making the situation challenging for everyone involved.

  1. I don’t think anyone gives a sh*t about this tie at face value or when it will be replayed. The extra rest time is actually fantastic at the moment. The suspended players for Napoli, not so much.
