MN: Spurs have concrete interest in Poland international; West Ham among three competitors

By Oliver Fisher -

There is concrete interest from Spurs in AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek, a report claims, but there is no agreement and plenty of competition.

Sun journalist Duncan Wright reported on Thursday night Spurs have managed to tie up a deal worth £28million in total – roughly equal to €33million – for the Poland international.

He even went as far as to say that Piatek is set to sign a three-and-a-half year deal and complete a medical in the next 48 hours.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira then revealed that there has not even been an official offer from the north London club for the 24-year-old.

According to the latest from MilanNews.it‘s Anto Vitiello, Tottenham’s interest in Piatek is real, but there is still no agreement neither with Milan nor with the player.

In addition to this, the north London side face competition from two of their Premier League rivals in the race to land the former Genoa man; namely Aston Villa and West Ham – as well as Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

We reported on Thursday that Villa have placed an offer roughly equal to €31million for Piatek.
